Octobass-ul este un minunat instrument muzical construit de francezul Jean Baptiste Vuillaume. La prima vedere seamănă cu un contrabas imens, dar are doar 3 corzi și funcționează la frecvența de 16 Hz, mult prea joasă pentru auzul uman.
