Cercetatorii de la MIT dezvolta un microcip ce ar putea reda vedere partiala persoanelor oarbe. Cipul va permite nevazatorilor sa recunoasca fete si sa mearga neasistati. Inchis in titan, microcipul va fi introdus in ochi si va transmite imaginile primite de la o camera ce va fi purtata pe ochelari direct la creier.
